Surry Hills Festival Outing

Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills

Hi guys!
Hope you all had a nice relaxing Easter Break before the 10 week crunch comes.
Just a heads up to let you all know that there’s going to be a Photoshop tutorial in Week 4, on Thursday the 10th of April at 5:30-7:30PM*, so keep that day free.

We’ve also arranged an outing to the Surry Hills Festival on Saturday the 12th of April at Prince Alfred Park. It will be a great festive day out with lots of things going on like catwalks, fashion shows, live music, actor appearances, dancers and dog shows. Lots of amusement park rides and food stalls as well. Bring your cameras along and get snapping!

Meeting place: Central Station near underground pedestrian tunnel, close to Chalmers Street exit.
Time: 10am
Cost: Gold coin donation at the festival entrance gates which is used to support the great community services provided by the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre.

Cool! I'll be a maybe on the Surry Hills Festival but I probably can't make it to the Photoshop tutorial on that day :-/

OOo good good good hehe .. looking forward to both events ... I'm good with Thursday 5.30 to 7.30 ... hope no changes .. really wanna learn PS haha

I passed by Surry Hills the other day and saw the ad ... Seems interesting ... can we also meet in uni ? and gold coin = 2 dollars ?

Meeting spot

Hi guys,
Glad you can make it

Yeap, it's a gold coin donation so a dollar or two, depending on how generous you feel :P

If you want to have your own meeting spot at uni amongst yourselves, that's fine. But i'll avoid any confusion by just meeting at 10am at central station near Chalmers Street. (When you leave the station, its the exit to your left, and to your right you should see the tunnel which leads to Railway Square...)

So just want to make it clear, are we meeting at the top of the exit? And if you know, is it the first exit where the Railway square buses stop at?

PS Workshop

Hi Nick.
The Photoshop tutorial has been postponed to Thursday, 17th of April.
It'll be on campus, K17 Seminar Room at 5:30PM - 7:00PM.
