UNSW Photography Club

The NSW Murray Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is running a Land, Water and Climate photography competition. The aim of the competition is to build a stronger connection between the community of the NSW Murray catchment and the landscape in which they live.

The competition has 3 themes: Land, Water and Climate.
The winning photographs will be included in the NSW Murray CMA 2009 Calendar. To be eligible for the competition the photograph must:
• Be taken and the entrant must live within the NSW Murray Catchment.
• Include the theme (i.e. land, water or climate) that the photo will be entered for and a caption with the location of the photo, date the photo was taken and any other details (i.e. river name, thunderstorm event etc).
Prizes
Each theme will have a first, second and third prize winner and best 3 junior (under 16) entries will also win a prize.
1st Prize: A Pentax digital camera with a 2gigabyte memory card and printing voucher
2nd Prize: $30 printing voucher and a photo frame
3rd Prize: $20 printing voucher

Entries will be judged by a panel which will include a professional photographer. The competition closes Friday the 26th of September 2008.
