Hey friends, I was just wondering what is coming up in the near future, what's happening? Is Lens Life all that's on the cards for the next little bit?

In potentially more exciting news, I got a real camera. Nikon D60, I'd love to see y'all at something and ask some stuff (like what bits and pieces I should get next) - oh and also, upon Raymonds recommendation, i've got one of those ridiculous rocket air blower things (but a diddy one).

As a new member and a relative youth to the world of photography, I think it would be awesome if people posted up some photos from the events, such as the Royal Easter Show or coming Flugtag. That way, we babies can be inspired / learn. Plus it would be good to see more photos up and comments going.

Can someone important make this happen?

At the moment it's listed as public, invite only to mirror the way this site is set up (I understand if you want to join it gives you a message box to message an admin - me at the moment - who can then provide you with an invite. Black and White development chemicals/service

Hi everyone,

I've recently gotten chemicals to develop B&W film at home. As anyone who has done this can testify, these chemicals come in massive amounts that I cannot forsee myself using up before expiry.

As such, I'll be offering usage of my equipment and chemicals for nominal rates to cover my costs:

$5/roll - self-processed
$10/roll - processed for you

I'm currently using Kodak D76 developer.

Hi guys :) First of all juz wanna say thanks to everyone who made the Stanwell Park outing a success ... it was amazing and i never had a full day of photography before :P ... we should really have this more ...

Anyways i've been trying to upload my stuff but .. only managed to get 1 up ... others i've gotten this error message :

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3008 bytes) in /home/photoclub/www/includes/image.inc on line 282"

No memory ? :P

Hi everybody!

I am so sorry I cannot be there at the outing. So now, I am curious to death how it went.

Please, tell me:
- did you like it?
- how you think it went?
- how would you like it to be different next time?
- any inputs to improve it?
- any other comments and complaints are most welcome!

Please, please take time to answer these questions so that next outing would be better and more enjoyable for all.

Hi,

I'm in a bit a of a puzzle, I recently took up b & w photography, coz I did this course at cofa and I really enjoyed it. I bought a camera, film, and paper, just no chemicals. I'm not really keen on buying my chemicals, as I wouldn't really have anywhere to store it (I live in a flat, which is hardly ever room temp). So I was wondering if any of you still do black and white photography, and maybe I could do it with you (e.g. blockhouse has a dark room), I would be willing to pay for the chemicals and so forth.

If not, does anyone know if there is like a camera club, where they have a darkroom supplied with chemicals?? I don't mind joining the club.

how many of u here still take film?

i still have my f65 to take some slides occasionally. digital still cant beat slides in terms of contrast still.
